Cycling

I made it!!!

In April of 2007 I completed the biggest adventure of my life. After about 2800 miles of hard riding, I finally dipped my front wheel into the Pacific Ocean.

I met so many incredible people along the way and stayed in so many wonderful places. I hadn’t ridden a bicycle in over ten years when I felt the calling to ride across our great country to raise money for Tapestries of Life. It’s been a long process to learn the basics of both cycling and survival. I climbed a bunch of hills, fought a lot of wind, but I made it! Ya know what? I still don’t feel like a cyclist!
