1 1/4 C 110 Deg Water
4 C Flour
2 tsp Salt
1 pkg yeast
1.5tsp sugar
1T baking soda
Dissolve 1 pkg of yeast with 1/4c warm water and 1.5tsp of sugar. Add
1C warm water and let sit for 5 minutes
Mix salt and flour
Mix yeast mixture with dry mixture and knead for 10 mins or put in
mixer with dough hook
Cover and let double for 45mins
Divide dough into 4-6 pieces
Heat 4 cups of water and 1 tbs of baking soda to a boil
Roll pretzels into 3/8″ ropes 20″ long and form, making sure to pinch
ends tightly
Boil pretzels for 1 minute each. Remove them carefully!!!!
Brush pretzels with real butter
Bake at 475 until light brown (8-14 minutes depending on your oven)
Brush with butter again
Top with salt or cinnamon sugar
